Thanks for commenting on my Easter 'hare' Mim & for welcoming me & my Pom - love your Zoe Bear Pom. My Pom is now 12 1/2 - I'm sure he'd show some grey if it weren't for the cream colour :). Happy Easter!.

Mim, I can tell you about missed captures all day long. Nice thing is, if you keep trying, you will get a capture eventually. Mainly speaking of bird species! Thanks for your support and comments on my humble submissions!

Thank you Mim for your kind comments to my "Brown Pelican Feathers." I took dozens of photos but the one presented had that special movement on the feathers and that caught my eye immediately. Glad you liked it too! Many thanks, Lorenzo

I've been missing for a week and now able to reply. Thank you Mim for your recent comment. As for the protrusion on the pelican's bill, it happens when they are in matting season. After that it goes away. Regards, Lorenzo

indeed, you are right about the little bit of color in the eyes of "so many questions". I hoped it would be subtle enough most would only percept it in the sub-concient level, adding some magic, but stay unnoticed for most visitor

Gene, I replied to you via a message, but it did not go through. I've reported the problem on the bug page. I'll see if it's fixed tomorrow, and if not, I'll figure out a different way to send it.

Through my images I hope to instill in viewers a love of nature and a desire to help protect it, whether it be a distant wilderness or as close as one's own back yard.

When I'm not transcribing oral, corporate or personal history interviews and editing and proofreading books, websites and articles, I'm out in the garden or at the nature center capturing moments presented by Mother Nature, concentrating especially on floral and insect macros. I sometimes venture into landscapes, skyscapes, automobiles and animals, or the occasional abstract.
