I'm retired from the environmental /civil design, construction fields and pollution abatement and remediation and construction fields after 30 years.
I have been involved heavily in photography for over 35 years winning more than my share of awards in competition and art shows. I had my own wet processing lab in which I made 30x40 B&W sepia toned Florida landscape images using large format cameras. I also processed color prints up to 20x24. Many of my framed prints are displayed in the corporate areas as well as the private sector. One of my favorite images is of the space shuttle Challenger at its first dawn launch made with remote cameras near the launch pad. farm1.static.flickr.com/77/186002143_df0a6ee0a1_o.jpg
A framed 16x20 print is displayed in the press core room at Cape Kennedy.
After many years of large format B&W film photography, I now enjoy the realm of digital photography using Canon 10, 30D IR converted, 5D Mark II and the 7D DSLR cameras and Canon "L" lenses. My current projects are in producing digital slide programs set to nature music. My programs are for presentations to other camera clubs and special interest groups around the state of Florida.
I also conduct photo workshops and photo tours, "Florida Photographic Adventure Tours". I enjoy taking people out and helping them acquire photos they would be proud to display on their walls. I do photography workshops for small groups and 1 on 1 around my state and other areas of your interest.
If you like to photograph wading birds in their rookery's with baby chicks and the fantastic waterscapes we have here in South Florida, then perhaps you would enjoy taking one of my boat photo tours. We get up very close and personal, when the timing is right.
I enjoy your rating my images... everyone does, but I would rather you take the time to let me know what you think about them.
We all have had interesting experiences happen to us on our quest for photographic images and stories to share with others. My Adventure Stories on my web site and my Blog contain a few you just might get a kick out of. Please stop by when you have the time and drop me a line.
Thanks, and enjoy!
