Hello Paul. Thank you for your recent comments on my pictures, but more over for the link to your website. You have an impressive gallery! As for the 'lone tree' versions they all are excellent.. and you have seen many more possibilities with that picture that I would have seen. To my surprise I think that I leaning towards lone tree 2 (b&w) and close second.. lone tree 2 square ( b&w) Again congrats for your gallery here and on your site.. Marthe

Paul, good question on the bear investigating me. When Im doing wildlife photography, I make a point of not disturbing the animals or invading their territory, which I guess is an oxymoron as Im already in their territory, but hopefully you get my point. I'll steer well clear if I see any animal is potentially agressive, and I dont go chasing animals down, like some folks with their cell phones. As a last resort I have always carried bear spray, but thankfully have never had to use it.
