By the way, Peter. The night shot of Elbow Falls surprised me as well. It was a very dark night and I was not expecting what the sensor picked up. It's fun when you get such a surprise. Glad you liked it. Simon.

Appreciate your comment on the 'Misa' image, Peter...the subject was exiting the library through the revolving door when I snapped the shutter, so the lines may have been the bars on the glass door. Took a number of shots both entering & exiting and this one stood out.

thanks for your reply, peter! for the lamp between the cat: i had the same impression that it would be a good thing to have a second emphasis besides the cat. maybe in highkey style just for the shades and strong structures. just a thought... greetings!

Thanks for your comments on my image 'Elements', Peter. I guess technically speaking it is burned out but with the white areas recovered (or burned in) it just didn't look right. I wanted a huge contrast between the sunny area and the darkest clouds. Cheers!

I have been creative all my life and up until a few years ago being a singer/songwriter and playing guitar was my artistic outlet. In the past couple of years I caught the photography bug and now I have a new passion.

Outside of that I am a software test engineer, an avid skydiver, animal lover, like hiking, the outdoors and exercising.
