Wonderful Job!
@ClaireBall replied: @PicArtIS Thanks Dennis, this for me has not been topped by anything yet and I'm still waiting for the next big storm along with clear skies of course which is the biggest problem from Galway - always clouded out whenever there is a solar storm

It is so beautiful..we seldom see an aurora as it is usually so cloudy out here. I chased around after one last night but not near as beautiful as your display!
@ClaireBall replied: Thanks Laura, we were just extremely lucky on the 17/18th of March, cloud rolled in about 10pm and eventually moved at around 11pm to give clear skies. Two yrs ago there was a geomagnetic storm like the other night but so disappointing with clouds!

@ClaireBall replied: Thanks Pamela, the aurora is definitely something for anyone's bucket list, the feeling of seeing them is indescribable LOL I like a man and his wife on facebook, Ronn Murray in Alaska, he has real video's as well as timelapse and it something unreal to watch, Iceland or Finland over this side of the world, Alaska over there and NZ for the Australis is on my bucket list now :) :) :)

It is such a magical joy to witness ... this is indeed a keeper Claire. I see on your map 'Westport'. I visited there as I live in Westport, Ontario. There is a club of towns named Westport !. But your Aurora is magnificent.
@ClaireBall replied: Thanks Jenny......Yes almost at Westport, Killary fjord is right beside the border of Galway and Mayo, we went to Westport after here but sadly she has faded and fog was setting in. Wesport is a great little town :)

Seeing as it is so rare to capture the Aurora over Galway I thought I'd add another. Amazing to see such a beauty
