Wonderful shot Pam, I'm envious, I've been trying to catch one of these little beauties on the wing, haven't yet. I'll keep trying though.

Such a tremendous capture, Pamela. I envy those who not only have the hummingbirds to watch but also have the opportunity (and skill) to grab such great, sharp images. We occasionally stay at an inn that has the hummingbirds and they will sometimes alight on a chair or someone's hat, briefly.
@pamelabole replied: are so kind!!! I truly appreciate you looking and commenting on my photos!!! : )

Superb capture, Pamela! excellent details & clarity! I go to a 'Inn' where they have feeders for Hummingbirds' and I am always 'surprised' to see the males 'defend their territory and even their 'feeder' they do have character..
@pamelabole replied: Thanks Marthe....and yes, these little guys are feisty and territorial for sure!! hahaha!!!! So fun to watch and a challenge to photograph!!

@pamelabole replied: Thank you so much Paul....they are so much fun to watch and "try" to photograph!! : )

This is one of "my" little female Hummingbirds that enjoys my feeder. Most of them will come to feed even when I am not that far away. In fact, 3 of the Hummers have actually come and let me know when their feeder is running coming to my window or at my open sliding glass door and "staring" at me! hahaha!!! Quite the characters!

Thanks for looking!! : )
