Last weekend my husband and I took a whale watching tour out of Moss Landing, in the Monterey Bay area, in California. It is very unusual for the Humpbacks to still be in our area, as usually the waters are cooler this time of the year. However, for some reason the waters are not cooler, and there is a lot of food for the whales in the Bay, soooooo, the whales are still here!! We were hardly out of the harbor when we started spotting the whales. We were told there were at least 25 Humpbacks in our immediate area.

I posted a few of the many shots I took. : ) Such amazing creatures!!

Thanks for looking!! : )
