There is no doubt that your neck of the woods lends itself to beautiful landscapes, such as this. I lived in Longmont,CO. for a couple of years and loved the fall colors out there and really do miss it.

Fall colored aspens surround a high lake in Eastern Sierra. First light at dawn was soothing, tranquil and cold. It was a spectacular day for photography so I hope to share a few more from that day. I was up there with a few friends the day before assisting as a guest instructor to a workshop so it was nice to just relax and capture a few photos before my annual week or two in the Sierra during fall. The color was at peak the light was great so I was able to shoot in all directions including up and down.
