I have yet to see an eagle in North America!! ....and it is something I want to see! I was told that a pair of Eagles built a nest in a big redwood tree near a school in San Jose! Not a place I would think they would usually chose! One of these days when school is not in session I am going to check it out!! Great find and great capture!! : )

While walking this morning I came across this immature Bald Eagle. A little further away was a pair of adults working on their nest. Perhaps this youngster was taking notes for the future. Always so cool to see the eagles! I didn't identify the location on this shot because Bald Eagles generally don't like human presence, especially when they are nesting.
