Both are fab perspectives, the leading lines in the original draw your eye up to the stall and up over to the tower

@pamelabole @TimDuffus @ramonachiassongmailcom @Jennybear Thank you, everyone for the great comments. Pamela, I agree about having an uninterupted shot. Ramona, for certain a bucket list item. Jenny, I agree about the way the lights look like a carnival but the place is a Carnival and the City of Lights!!

Wonderful captures of the Tower.....though I would love to move the fence and Vendor.....that would be an amazing uninterupted shot with the lines of the tile work. : ) Looks like you had amazing weather.....such a beautful place!

Only days before my wife and I left on vacation in 2015, I read two newspaper articles. One article was regarding photography, the other travel sites and views. Both were of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.

In the Original shot here the writers explained to approach (if possible) from a specific location. For photos this created the better lines apparently.

In the extra Version the advise was to take shots from this angle.

The location is Place du Tracedero, general hub of the city. Our hotel was less than 15 minute walk from the location and from here 10 minutes to the tower itself.

In later posts I will include more details.

In a simple manner, I say Incredible to first observe. The size and imprint on the mind is amazing.
