Well Megan, this is prize worthy ! Exceptional capture. Back in the eighties I was walking in a pine forest with a knit hat with a white pompom. I hear not a sound and the next thing I know Mr. Great Grey has my hat in his claws. He went for the pompom and my scalp was untouched. But, absolutely no sound.

Great Gray Owl in Algonquin Provincial Park. This was such a lucky encounter :-D Heading up to the park in the morning, love Yurt weekends!!! I was expecting a nice spring trip but it looks like it's still winter up there with lots of fresh snow!
