Brown-headed Cowbirds could be called lazy nesters due to the way they parasatize the nests of other birds. A female will lay an egg in someone else's nest and push one of the original eggs out. The Cowbird egg hatches before the other species and that chick is able to out compete the rest of the chicks. They are a rather beautiful bird none the less.
