This is a great shot Jenny, fingers crossed they made it - Momma bear only looks young herself

(@Marthe Yes, Mom is very alert. I often wonder if the cubs made it that first year. I so appreciate your comments.

Wonderful how you captured the body position/ body language of the Mom.....she definitely looks like she is on alert. Wonderful light, to highlight Momma and the cubs faces.

The mother's body positioning is so wonderful. There is just enough lighting on parts of her that make her appear like a bronze statute. Those cubs are so tiny compared to past images you have shared so this is a real treat.

@Marthe Hi Marthe... Yes, Mom has her eye out. The cubs are very vulnerable this time of year. So appreciated Marthe.

Without a doubt, these are the smallest cubs I have seen in all my visits to the Khutzeymateen. It is raining in this shot, so it is a bit grainy. These little guys were born later in the year than normal. Cubs are usually born late January or early February. These cubs were probably born in March and the shot was taken the end of May. Our group had only the one viewing in six days... and it was raining....
