Last night, April 20, violence in the form of terrorism broke out once again in Paris. A number of media videos included angles to dramatize the story, so that it would include the Arc de Triomphe, another iconic location of Paris.
In the summer of 2015, Marg and I visited Paris and when we saw the news videos we said 'we were in that spot'.
This image is taken early morning, before the famed Champs Elysees opens for shoppers. If you count the traffic lanes there are 6-8 if you include the parking. After 10 am this street is crowded both with vehicles and people strolling.
Perhaps not such a great image I have captured, for certain the tourist form, however;
Remain strong, Paris. Remain vigilant. Your beauty will not be destroyed.
