Gorgeous shot. Yes... what we do for photography. Where I go for grizzlies is a rainforest and I have sat in an inflatable for six hours in rain. The hardest thing to do is to keep your gear dry. Loving this shot Philip.
@PhilipGraham replied: Thanks, Jenny! Yes, I imagine for wildlife photography you have to be incredibly patient. I have an improvised plastic bag to at least try to keep my gear dry!

So, today found me up at the Nishizawa gorge, in the north of Yamanashi prefecture. It's a great spot, as you can walk right down at water level. It was very overcast today, so perfect for this kind of long exposure shot. Five minutes after I took this however the heavens opened and it started to hail! Long, wet walk back to the car - what we do for photography!
