(@pamelabole Hi Pamela... I have had many comments about the log ! I love a dark background with a Kermode. They are so white due to being in the water a lot. Normally they get dirty from rolling around and scratching their backs etc. and they take on a yellow hue. I do thank you.

Wonderful capture Jenny...... besides the beauty of Mr. Kemode Bear......that log is also stunning....the colors of green almost give it a 3D look and is so lush looking. And the greens really bring the white and details of his fur out. : )

(@ramonachiassongmailcom Hi Ramona... Not that dreaded word 'snow'... 60% chance of rain here.... but it is going down to 30. F. I passed this shot over... had a second look and liked it !!! Funny. Yes... Arizona for sure.

Hi..Jen..I agree with Ken about that log..marvelous also..a winter in the warm will do you wonders...rain again and the nesting swans are having a hard time..we have 3 pairs nesting this year..they work so hard at saving there eggs as the water level is very high on the bay..causing damage to the piers...some of us have put hay down for the swans..still the rain continues..cold rain at that and it might snow Sunday...bah

Hi Tim: It was raining lightly. Amazing how that type of light makes the colours pop ! I do thank you.

Tough job, chasing all those fish!

Absolutely marvelous. I do enjoy this guy but what always stuns me with you captures are the many layers and tones of greens. That old log is wonderful all by itself. Great work, Jenny.

Mr. Kermode Bear works hard to catch salmon and in this shot he was just standing there watching the salmon fight their way up Riordan Creek. He almost looks asleep !
