Thanks, they are cute and since they are so vulnerable the parents are extremely aggressive in defending them. I have posted a shot of an adult not happy that my dog is on the boardwalk and close to the nest. Hope you like it.

So, I posted shots of a Black Tern and their nest. The next in the series are these two Black Tern chicks that are no more than 36 hours old. It will be between 3 and 4 weeks before these fledglings will have left the nest and are flying on their own. Pretty Cool!
