If you are in or visit Seattle, you must see this work by artist John Grade (pronounced grah-dee) at Seattle Art Museum. It is a full-scale replication of a 140' cedar near Seattle, meticulously made by staff and volunteers from nearly one million small pieces of cedar glued together. Marge and I helped with this project.
