The Monarch are still elusive, not as many still. Great capture and composition, Rob.

Sitting on the deck last night I captured this beautiful Monarch Butterfly sitting in the sun drying off after emerging from its chrysalis. I have been taking butterfly shots in the field behind the house but someone decided that the Queen Annes Lace (Wild Carrot) and thistles and other wild flowers needed to be mowed down. Don't wonder Mother Nature has a tough time.
