I just completed hiking the Milford Track in New Zealand's Fiordland. Its known for its wild weather and its waterfalls. WE were not disappointed. Hiked the first day in dry weather, day 2 it started raining and the waterfalls turned from a trickle to a rumble. Day 3 we hiked during a cyclone. 120 MPH winds at the top, pelted with hail and at one point I looked around and counted 27 waterfalls within view. This was day 4 which turned into a beautiful day of baking sun and misty gushing water. One of the most beautiful places on earth.
