Thank you for your comment, Carl. You're right, it is an old mining area. They offer walking tours through some of the old shafts, from what I understand. Very interesting little place, with a lot of old things to photograph. The day I was there, I saw four groups of photographers using different areas as a back drop.

That's an amazing old water tank you have there, Cherie. I assume that's what it is. But what a huge outlet it has, making it look like some giant kettle. And that dry rocky country. Is this an old gold mining area? Interesting scene this.
