Thanks for the comments. I was in a '60s retro "acid" flashback mood like Jimmy Buffett used to muse about when I played with the original shot. I just like the "charged" atmosphere kinda look. Every now and then you just have to have fun with a shot. To me this was the perfect fantasy dreamlike state. "Alice" goes "Jefferson Airplane". :)

Beauty is in the eye... I like it for what it is. For what it is worth, I imagine the clouds filled in behind the tree and the Tree itself a little burned to make it stand out more; after all it is about the tree. Might see it that way and hate it, but my imagination wonders/wanders. :)

This is a tree at Delano Store on the Northern Neck of Virginia. I was playing with the original shot and hit a filter that "electrified" it. I liked will make "purists" crazy...but...I LIKE it. :)

I put the original up also.
