Well, by finding the 'pond', at least you've established "The Road Less Taken" shot. Nicely done Brian.

We're glad you did too, Brian cuz this is a very cool shot of Mt. Shasta, one of the best I've seen....excellent foreground of cattails, white buds, and straw grasses leading the eye out across the lake with that beautiful reflection, then to the trio of hills and finally to the majestic and solitary Mt Shasta...the morning light gives a pleasing, soft subtle light that's very captivating....nicely done !

An impressive scene with beautiful light

Brian Rueb

This is a different view of Shasta than most people shoot, I tried to find this lake forever, but some A-hole a few years ago wouldn't tell me where it was...and called it a "pond" so I looked for love in all the wrong places...but thanks to Google Earth, and a few nicer people, I finally found it 2 years ago...but only just now got off my lazy ass to shoot it...glad I did.
