the same occured to me: these little cups are quite difficult to shoot. your try to give clearity and selection to it worked well! and i found the hiding droplets ;o)

I love Buttercups, I agree Doug there hard to take, possibly since there is no textures, just smooth petals. Beautifully composed, with the two flowers and the tiny droplets!

I used a longer lens for this image, a Sigma 70-300mm in macro mode at 300mm. For some reason the buttercup has always been difficult for me, so I tried giving this one a little more room and a softer focus.
