Another nighttime exposure from an early fall evening at Mono Lake with a little tufa light painting. The green airglow phenomenon is fairly pronounced in this one; quite a cool atmospheric phenomena that can't seen with the naked eye. Also, hovering in the upper right hand corner is the Andromeda galaxy. It can be seen with the naked eye, provided you have absolute or near absolute darkness. It looks like a smudge with a bright bit in the middle. Although I know where to look, despite the darkness here, I actually found hard to locate on this particular evening.
