The Split Point Lighthouse has been standing tall and proud at the small Great Ocean town of Anglesea since 1891. It has 132 stairs from bottom to top and is 34 metres tall and the original British made 'Fresnel' lens is still in use today.
This area of the coast is particularly exposed to the elements and you can see how tortured the trees and bushes are that surround the lighthouse. (830)
