BRAVO I can see why the chose to use a two page spread. Peter I have had the privilege of photographing the Male/Female Snowy Owl all winter. I have observed the male turning whiter each month. I have taken at least thousands of images will continue to post them but not all at once. Again CONGRATS on such artistry!!!!!!!

I posted this photo years ago on the Canadian Geographic website. Two months ago they contacted me and asked if they could publish it. I was thrilled to open up the April issue and see it as a two-page spread.

Many people ask me if the sky was natural. I use a graduated neutral density filter for almost all of my sunrise/set shots. It helps improve the colours and lighten the foreground.
