the crow looks a bit beat up..maybe blind in that eye...a nice capture..Brian
@Brian replied: I have another photo showing both eyes...both identical...yet the bird made a good landing and gave me a careful inspection. I will check other crow pictures. Thanks for the comment.

A local crow posing for a closeup. Interesting eye structure. The pupil was dilated even though the bird was positioned in the shade. Seems that everything around here is in the shade. It has been a very soggy summer. Migratory birds are beginning to make their appearance here in central Southeast Alaska.
