Your Opinion Matters

"Mosaic View"

So check this out, a new view we call "Mosaic" (See the new tab above!). We had an idea of how cool it would be to show, live, what photos people were looking at. This isn't based on votes, favorites or comments but what's great is the more views a photo is receiving at that time, the more it will appear in the Mosaic View.

Tell us what you think...what if there were preferences that you could narrow the view by category, ratings, favorites or...? We'd love to hear your ideas.

We hope you enjoy this new way to discover!

@Everyone: Thanks! We're really enjoying it too. New features to Mosaic coming soon!

What I most like about mosaic is that it is yet another way you allow us to view work that is making an impact. That is precisely why it's such a clever innovation.

excellent idea indeed, makes us discover other pictures we could overlook otherwise.
How about placing the items of the bottom of the page in the footer, so we don't have to scroll that deep to find them ? (opinions, about, ...)

How many ways I view pictures here: Snaplist (of course,) the view by categories, 72dpi front page with it's scrolling pictures, looking at the some of the favs made by those on my snaplist, viewing live activity, putting in a search term, spotlight and now mosaic. So there you go, having all of that means I can be as unique as I want to be in viewing other's photos.

Wow! That's really great. I love it. Now I can go to one place and see what everyone else is looking at, so I can look at it too and be just like everyone else. Heaven forfend that I should show a spark of uniqueness and individuality. Now, I think I'll have a Starbuck's coffee.

I think Mosaic is a great idea.Good way to find new snaps by people you haven't yet discovered on here. And the name reminds me of the good old pre-Internet Explorer days of the web, when a connection fast enough to upload photos many megabytes in size would have seemed like the wild imaginings of a lunatic ;)

One note on this feature, I am getting some images that I think have been deleted popping up in the mosaic. The appear as the missing image icon, and when you click on them you get the 404 page.
Other than that I like it.:)
